A. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturdays (therapy only) 8 am to 11 am.

Q. How are emergencies handled after hours? Is there another doctor that sometimes takes call or covers for this doctor?
A. Yes. Our physicians are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call our main office number, (708) 226-3300, for assistance anytime. Prescriptions are refilled during office hours only.

A. Yes

Q. What services are offered at Midwest Orthopaedic Consultants?
A. We offer onsite MRI, Bone Densitometer, casting, therapy services including P.T., O.T., hand therapy and functional capability evaluations as well as physician-related services.

Q. What will I experience in an MRI exam?
A. Most MRI exams are approximately one hour in length, including preparation time. During the exam you will hear a series of loud tapping and buzzing noises. You will have the option of wearing standard hearing protection or a stereo headset. The technician will speak to you throughout the testing to advise you of the progress of your exam.

Q. How soon can I get an appointment?
A. If you are not requesting a specific physician, our first available appointment is within 24 to 48 hours from the time you call.

Q. Which Dr. would you recommend for my specific problem?
A. All of our physicians are board-certified or board eligible in orthopaedic surgery. All of our physicians can treat orthopaedic injuries. However Midwest Orthopaedic Consultants, S.C. does have board-certified sub-specialists in the following areas: hand, shoulder, spine, foot, ankle, knee and hip replacements.

Q. How long will my appointment take?
A. A new patient appointment generally takes about 60 minutes. This time allows for paper work to be completed, physician interview, and X-rays to be taken if needed.
