Dr. Lim is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School and completed his fellowship training at the Spine Institute for Special Surgery in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Lim is extensively trained in the entire range of surgical and non-surgical treatment of spine problems. Dr. Lim is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery Chicago Medical Society. Dr. Lim holds academic appointments at the University of Illinois and Midwestern University. He is actively involved in the Pain Management Committee at Advocate Christ Medical Center, and is a regular lecturer to the Community Health Group. Dr. Lim specializes in treatment of disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He has special interest in minimally invasive spinal surgery and degenerative conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine.
